Quarantine inspired me to change up my bedding – room decor and office too (stay tuned). A couple weeks ago I saw this photo model Elsa Hosk posted for a Vogue Editorial  and got inspired to change up my bedding. I’ll be honest it’s not a big change. I had a mustard yellow duvet cover before this butter yellow duvet, but I LOBED the butter yellow duvet cover and pillow cases and the pink plaid throw in the shot. I found similar pillow cases and a duvet cover from Urban Outfitters and this super airy and soft plaid throw online.  I also purchased that blue body vase (sold out) and a pastel container from Urban too. Most of my bedding and decor was pretty affordable, besides the Parachute sheets I decided to purchase too.

White sheets are my go to, because they’re so easy to clean – all you have to do is bleach the stains out. I decided to opt for linen sheets though. The sheets I had been using were from Cozy Earth. They’re made from bamboo and are so so so comfy. They’re temperature adjusting, so if it’s warm they stay cool and if its cool they keep you warm. I highly recommend those, so definitely check them out, but they’re so pricey.

This time I opted for Parachute Linen sheets. They were not as pricey as Cozy Earth, but still pretty pricey. I purchased them through Klarna, since it makes purchasing things a bit more bearable. Klarna is a financial service that allows you to break up whatever you’re shopping for in 4 easy payments. So, if you’re interested in pricey sheets that’s how I purchased them!

In regards to the sheets, they’re nice. If you don’t like linen, then you might not like them. They’re airy and breathable in a summer dress type of way! I definitely felt cooled at night and they’re supposed to get softer the more I wash, so looking forward to that. I wouldn’t say I’m in LOBE yeeeet, but I don’t regret buying them.

Also, Versed just launched 3 tinted Silk Slip Tinted Lip Oil. I’m a big fan of the clear Silk Slip Lip Oil. I’ll be honest, the lip oil is a lobe hate. You either like it or don’t and I LOBE IT. It applies like a glossy oil, but then dries/settles into a balm. And, what I really like is that it lasts and keeps your lips moisturized and conditioned. Now they’re available in three shades – blossom, ruby, and fig. They give you a pretty wash of color and still condition like the original. Ruby and Fig are my favs, especially for my skin tone, so definitely check those out.

Lastly, I’m not reading a self-help or motivational book! Shocker!! I enjoy anything motivating or life enhancing books, but this book popped up, while shopping through Target’s app. I bought it and I’m loving it. It’s about a 30 something year old woman named Dannie and how her planned out life isn’t going as planned. Definitely something we can all relate too, so if you’re looking for something new check it out.
