WEARING

A good blazer will make you smile, because it’ll also save your ass when you need a polished look stat. It’s a piece that can prevent jeans and a tee from looking drab, or any outfit for that matter, and a piece that will instantly give you that power-business look you may seek. What I love about the one I’m wearing, is how feminine the lace makes it, but how structured and powerful it is being a blazer. Another thing that feminized this outfit was the Lady Dior Bag I borrowed from my Mom. I like the contrast the denim and lace create and the contrast between the tee shirt, jeans, and the Lady Dior,  especially the punch the gold accents pack against black. This outfit made me feel strong and powerful that day, it was also the perfect transition outfit from work to play, since  I booked it to ManRepeller’s book signing, for Finding Love Seeking Overalls, at Barney’s after. Lastly, if you’re petite like me and never thought you could wear wide-leg denim, just trust me when I say, GO FOR IT.
