This Spring I’m on a mission to bring more color and blouses into my wardrobe. I’m big on black, white and stripes for my entire wardrobe, because it’s easy and versatile, but I’ve gotten bored. I’m not one to buy cute blouses, so I started small with this Forever 21 twist-front plaid blouse. There is something delicate and feminine about it and perfect for the heat wave that hit Los Angeles a couple days ago. I paired it with a pair of khaki green shorts, which was my way of adding some color to my closet, inspired by a cute House of Harlow bracelet that Rocksbox sent me. If you haven’t heard of Rocksbox, you’re missing out. It’s a subscription service that sends you 3 pieces of jewelry, which you can wear for a month, before you decide to keep it and if you like a piece or all the pieces, you can purchase them for a discounted price. It’s a great way to experiment with jewelry for the non-jewelry types, like myself, and a great way to inspire your outfits, like me with the khaki shorts. If you’re interested in trying the service I have a promocode (imlvhxoxo) that will give you a free month of the service. As for the Dolce Vita heels, they’re a fairly new addition, that I paired with denim a few weeks ago, they’ve been a great addition and I’m excited about them for Spring.
