Spring has arrived!! We’re well into March, but I’m officially on SPRING BREAK. Woo hoo. So, I bought this skirt for a trip I’m going on for Spring Break, but it was the perfect piece to throw on and run to class in. I bought this draped skirt at Zara. It was only $16.90, a steal so bright I had shield my eyes with my favorite wild fox sunglasses or just hide my eyes from seeing the receipt of my recent Zara haul. The skirt super comfy jersey cotton and a fresh take on a simple pencil skirt or bondage skirt. I like that it’s cotton, because it can be perfectly casual with a Joes Jeans short sleeve and classic vans, like I’m wearing, or great with a forever 21 high-neck bodysuit and heels for a night out. I have the high-neck body suit in black, but I’m actually thinking of pairing the draped skirt with a grey jersey crop top for my trip. I borrowed the snake print vans from my Mom. She has the best shoe collection and these vans are the best and most affordable alternative to those amazing celine slip ons. If you haven’t noticed by now, I’m a BIG fan of denim jackets. The one I’m wearing is a fairly new purchase. I scored it during a Sunday shopping venture with my Dad. It’s actually a men’s denim jacket by Ralph Lauren’s Denim & Supply. Clothes have no gender restriction for me. If I like it, I buy it, and my Dad noticed my liking towards it and treated me to. He’s the best. I’m so excited to be on spring break. I wouldn’t normally wear a skirt like this to class, but I think my brain was half-way to Cabo. Oh, and the bag is Balenciaga. A Christmas gift from the sweetest Mom.
