Vetements always surprises me with its unique taste and juxtaposition of styles and shapes. This fashion house has the ability to bring a unique flavor to fashion that’s surprisingly effortless and kind of wearable. Vetements inspired me to experiment with super long sleeve styles they’ve been sharing in their latest collections, specifically their Spring 2016 collection. There is something effortless and cool about the look that I had to try it myself, but of course had to do it affordably. To embrace the look I headed over to the men’s section at Pac Sun, because they have shirts that are super similar to the Vetements long sleeve styles, plus Men’s styles tend to be shapeless, so it’ll really help translate the look, than grabbing a larger tee from the Women’s section as Women’s styles are made to fit women’s curves. I’m petite, so I opted for an XL, but I would recommend jumping 2 sizes from what your normal size is, because the XL has way too much fabric to tuck in, so I went ahead and cut the length a bit. This look has a tom-boy and bad ass vibe, so I decided to pair the look with my favorite custom Levis skirt, a bird embroidered satin bomber jacket from Zara, and those new Steve Madden velvet booties I’m obsessed with. let me know if you try the look out – I’d LOOVE to see how you do it.
