LITTLE ITALY + SHADOW SAUCONY

IMLVH

Something I love about California is that you can wake up in the City, go to the beach, then dessert, and finish the day up in the mountains – no joke. It’s interestingly possible to visit different California landscapes in a 24 hour span. Case in point, I headed down to San Diego with my Mom. It was a quick day-trip for some business stuff, but we decided to spend the night in Little Italy. I had no idea San Diego had an area called Little Italy, and it was the cutest thing. Since we got in the night before, we ate an amazing restaurant called Ironside Fish & Oyster Bar. I shared in one of my On the Run posts what I ordered, so be sure to check that out for more details. When I eat a delicious and heavy meal for dinner I like to start the next morning with a green juice. There was an adorable juice bar called Juice Crafters and I ordered the Green 3. Another great thing that got me through the day were my Saucony Shadow Original sneakers. They’ve been a staple lately and I wasn’t even looking for anything like them when I saw them at Madewell. They’re super comfy and the black accent gives them a chic-er look, plus I found a new love for socks. I used to hate when my socks showed, but I’m enjoy a little peek-a-boo. The pants I’m wearing are actually a velvet tuxedo skinny pant by J brand and being the impatient person I am, I cut the hem and I kind of like the velvet frayed look. The clutch is another great grab and go piece. I borrowed it from my Mom and it’s actually by a friend of mine. The company is called Tannery LA and they have some amazing leather clutch styles all made in the beautiful Los Angeles. In regards to my outfit, is that it’s all about easy classics these days for me- RayBan Wayfarers, Cashmere, and white tees.
