A LBD is a must, but I wasn’t convinced about a LBJD (little black jersey dress), until my Mom pointed it out at Athleta. Yes, the I’m talking about the athletic store. Jersey and stretch dresses have such a bad connotations, they’re the dress most college females wore or wear to frat parties or the dress worn to the clubzzz, but at first touch, I thought maybe they’re worn because they’re super comfortable? The jersey on this Athleta tulip dress is sublime. That’s probably not the reason their worn, more along the lines of sexy and an throw on, but My Mom sold me on it, when I saw it in store. She told me, it’s the perfect travel dress and its reversible, black on one side, grey on the other. it wasn’t the idea of versatility, that made me like it, but how insanely soft and comfortable it was. It felt like second skin or your most comfy pajama shirt, but it’s a fitted dress. I thought it would be fun to style, so I paired it with a trench I bought at forever 21, when I bought the black trench, that I shared how to style two ways (a dress and with a sweater and skirt), I saw this pink longline draped coat. There was something about the pink that got me and I’m not a pink girl. I decided to customize it a bit more and took to the tailor to add a slit. The outfit is pretty simple and easy to throw together, I think a nice Valentines look, if you’re going on a date or something. What steps the outfit up are the shoes. The heels I’m wearing are by Stuart Weitzman. They were a wee bit expensive, but I fell in love with them and I’m a big believer, if you absolutely love something, get it, because you won’t regret it. There are more affordable options these days, which I would have rather scored, but I was patient enough!
