A few weekends ago I visited Laguna Beach. I’ve always loved being an LA native, but what’s even more perfect about it, is how quick it is to escape to the beach. It’s the perfect opportunity to recharge on the weekends and my friends and I did just that. Part of our New Years resolution is to get out more. Not just use weekends to recoup and party, but step or drive a little farther than usual and travel to see the world around us. Laguna Beach has a sense of home for me. When I was younger, right after getting my license, my best friend and I would jet down there to get ice cream, go shopping, or just relax. I have some great memories down there, so it felt really good to be back. I’ll be back there sooner, than usual, because I found an amazing boutique called 11th moon. They have the most amazing designer duds, which is where I scored my beautiful Carven jacket. My friends and I also stopped at the Orange Inn for milkshakes. If you’re craving a classic milk shakes flavored with old school Hershey syrup or butterfingers, than that’s the place. This day was perfectly sunny and sweet. It was really nice to change up my normal Sunday routine. I opted for my favorite beach cover up from H&M, my go-to American Eagle denim, my Dieppa Restrepo loafers, and some Buddha to Buddha jewels.
