JOGGERS

20141119_NataliaRinder_Lizbeth_Piperlime3When it comes to fashion I’m all about experimenting, but the jogger trend took me a while to accept. I’m all about casual wear, I love denim and I grew up during the Juicy Couture and PINK era, but there was something about joggers that made me shy away. I’ve loved the way joggers have been styled, I just couldn’t figure out how I’d want to style them in a way that was me. I totally over thought it, typical me, because joggers are a more polished version of sweats and they’re super easy to style. I paired mine with a knit turtleneck, my staple lace-up Schutz heels, and a great quilted bag from Forever 21. To my surprise the look turned out to be everything I like my outfits to be, chic and effortless, with an added comfy.

If you’re totally down for the jogger trend, know you’ll wear them day in and day out, and have the funds, I’d suggest investing in a nice pair, but if you’re like me and not too sure about it, I found some amazing options from Forever 21 and ASOS. I think they’ll be great for casual Friday (maybe) or just a fun piece to add to your wardrobe. In my opinion and to my surprise, joggers are pretty versatile: you can pair with a tee and blazer or leather jacket, a nice blouse or a turtleneck, along with booties, sneakers, flats or my favorite option, heels. Joggers also come in a variety of styles and  fabrics, so finding a pair that work with your vibe and style is definitely possible.

Style tip: If you’re Holidays are like mine, at home, I found a couple sequined joggers that I think would be super fun to wear. I’m also thinking they’d be even more perfect for Thanksgiving. You wont need to unbutton your pants for that second or third serving. (insert emoji raise the roof hands here). Also, if you’re petite like me, ‘normal’, preggars, tall, or plus size I found some joggers for you!!
