On my road trip we stopped at one of the most beautiful and magical landscapes in America – The Grand Canyon. It’s a geological phenomenon carved out and created by the Colorado River and tributaries cutting through, and as a result the most awe-inspiring rock formations resulted. It’s billions of years in the making and each colored layer represents years. It’s preserved land and you can take a visit anytime. I thought it was a place to see and snap picturesque photos, but you can actually stay there for a week in housing or camp. It’s a super rad destination and I’m definitely planning on another visit, but for more than a couple hours – I want to sleep close to the stars. Since we were only making a pit-stop, I didn’t prep any hiking clothes, which is why I’m wearing sandals and carrying a purse.  :)  I came across the long chiffon blouse at H&M.  I’ve never been one for mullet dresses or skirts, but I loved this blouse version and the peek-a-boo cropped front. It was pretty reasonable and you can still snag one online. I paired the blouse with my favorite distressed shorts my Mom made and lace-up sandals I scored at the GoodWill a few years back with my Gramps. He always had the BEST luck. If you like the sandals, I’ve shared some options in my Shop tab. So, if you’re ever on the West Coast of America or want to see the most amazing and surreal landscape, go visit the Grand Canyon and stay a couple days. It’s the most humbling and interesting site I’ve ever seen.
