I LOVE Halloween costumes, but I’m a bit lazy when it comes to FULLY dressing up, so I thought I’d share some easy ways to embrace Halloween, if you just want a little pop of festivity. I think it’s the perfect opportunity to try to some crazy makeup looks or fashion editorial makeup – they’re make looks I wouldn’t rock on an every day level, but perfect for Halloween!! Check out my inspiration bellow and my Youtube video above if you want to see a little tutorial!!
For the babe that has stars in her eyes and likes to light up the night or the one that wants to embrace the star she is in a subtle and pretty way I think the star girl look is for you. This look was inspired by the star freckles image below and the vibe of Martin Solveig’s ALL stars song, so make sure to play that song, if you’re doing this makeup look. It’s such a vibe. I really love how pretty the stars sparkly around the eyes, so get creative with where ya wanna place the stars. You can even place them on shoulders or your legs – anywhere your story little heart desires. All you’ll need are these confetti stars from the amazing AMAZON (where I got mine) or your local craft store and eyelash glue – talk about super easy and super affordable.
This is the happy-go lucky, nature loving look, especially for those that want to vibe world peace in a 70s sort of way. What I call the Flower Child look. I randomly discovered photos of babes with tiny flowers placed all over their face on Pinterest and I adored how soft, sweet, and chic the flowers looked on the face and in the hair. I was instantly inspired to share this easy look with you all. I love the idea of fresh flowers or dried flowers on the face, but I ended up ordering Mr.Kate’s Beauty Marks. They were super easy to apply, so be sure to check it out to see how easy it was, but if you can and want a super artsy look, I’d totally order these dried mini flowers off etsy. You can keep the look simple without any extra makeup, but I love how a statement lip pulls the look together. You can totally pick a lip color to match a flower color you love – maybe purple, blue, or even free. I went with Fenty Beauty’s Matchstick in Chili Mango and added some gloss over it, which mad this subtle orange glitter stick pop!
