I’m super excited Cafe Gratitude has a new location in the beautiful and crazy developing Downtown Los Angeles. I’ve only visited them at their Larchmont location, so it makes me super happy, I don’t have to trek too far. If you’ve never been, they’re a vegan restaurant – drinks, food, sweets, and snacks. I visited the new location this week for a meeting with an old co-worker, which was the perfect business spot for the stuff we were discussing – laptop space and all. If you have major food allergies, like nuts and night shades, definitely be mindful, because vegan food is pretty heavily based. I say that, because I’m allergic to walnuts, they were a totally favorite, I don’t know what happened, but the restaurant is so great about asking if there are any allergies and if there are, they will bring out a binder of all their meals and the ingredients – definitely saves any worries. Besides that, the food was so amazing! Fresh and super filling. I opted for The Celebrating (vegetable spring rolls) and The Thriving Cooked soup (red bean soup) and my friend opted for The Awesome sandwich (eggplant pam sandwich). We both had the Effervescent to drink, which was a fresh Ginger Ale. And, for dessert I had the Cool (a mint chip shake). I’m obsessed with mint chip ice cream, remember thrifty’s? Well, this one is way better for you and is not neon green, and it taste better!
Everything at Cafe Gratitude is consciously made – from the ingredients chosen to intention of preparation. It’s such a beautiful environment and being there made me conscious of my day and energy I surround myself with. I’ve been their twice this week and I loved being asked their question of the day.
How am I honoring the Earth?

What am I committed to?

I hope you check out Cafe Gratitude in Downtown Los Angeles soon!!
